Leadership Development
Christian leadership as modeled by Jesus Christ is leadership that serves others, and this type of leadership is taught in all grades and classes. Our Bible and history classes provide specificexamples of this type of leadership from the life of Jesus and from the lives of our early American Founders.
Courses in Christian leadership principles are also taught, and students have opportunity to practice their leadership skills by participating in Student Council, TeenPact, Texas Youth and Government, community service projects, and missionary trips.
Another opportunity for leadership development is provided through athletic competition where students learn both teamwork and individual self-discipline. Varsity athletics includes flag football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, and cheerleading. Junior High students may have separate athletic teams. Elementary students may participate in track.
